YSL Beauty Secret: Instant Moisture Glow

Welcome to my latest video and collaboration! Firstly, a little cheese. I have to say that I feel phenomenally lucky – one might go so far to say #blessed, if one were a total tool that is – to be fresh back from a weekend technically “working” in stunning Amalfi and also sharing a collaboration with a brand I adore to almost pathetic levels. You guys have seen my Beauty “How To’s” so you know just how obsessed I am with YSL Beauty. I have used their incredible products ever since I first managed to beg, borrow or steal them from my mother / friends / relatives / relatives-of-friends as a teenager. Now as a technical grown up, not that anyone who knows me well would refer to me in such terms, I’ve built up my own sizeable stash and our relationship status has been cemented. So when YSL Beauty invited me to work with them on the launch of their new top secret product there was no question my answer would be anything other than a resounding HELL YES!

As much as I appreciate the transformative, almost magical powers of makeup – especially when applied by a professional i.e not me – for the most part, I like to keep things pretty natural. Except for special occasions, or less than special occasions where my skin looks rough as hell, I want the whole thing minimal and possible to execute in maximum 5 minutes. Considering this, it’s unsurprising that YSL Beauty’s new Instant Moisture Glow massively appealed to me. It’s basically a gorgeous, smooth, light as air skincare concoction that can be used to prep the ‘ol visage for anything from full on red carpet slap to an everyday dusting of powder, or just used au natural as I did here.

Unlike traditional creams and lotions, it infuses moisture, fuses the skin surface and diffuses glow while making your face feel silky smooth and generally lovely.
