What: Whistles palm print camisole (available here), palm print skirt (available here), Sandals (similar here and here) & Clutch bag (available here) with vintage ring given to me by my mum for Christmas.
Where: Dinner at the Sheraton in Soma Bay followed by dancing at the Eagle’s Nest Bar.
My full, photo packed, multiple outfit change involving Soma Bay diaries are coming soon! These babies are going to be a marathon, trust me. Because the trip was so amazing, I’m taking a while to make sure the posts really do it justice. Well, that and the fact that I’m basically incapable of not writing waaaaay too much. So for now I’m delighted to share another of my favourite beach adjacent looks. Actually just one of my favourite looks full stop if I’m honest. I mean, of course I’m obsessed with this outfit. It combines highlighter brights, all over prints and matching-ness in one fabulously swishy grand slam from the wonderful Whistles!
Dressing for reliably scorching weather is so fantastically simple that I’m having real difficulty adjusting to London’s insanely unpredictable climes. This basically means I have been cold since my return from Soma Bay, largely due to a refusal to wear tights or go anywhere near a winter coat but also because I got lulled into a false sense of security about Spring’s arrival thanks to a few unseasonably sunny days at the start of April. Every bloody year, I never learn. Anyway, back to this look. Have you ever seen an outfit that screams out to be shimmied in quite like this one does? If you follow me on Snapchat (and if not, sort it out! My username is ellacatliff) then you will know already that I did a LOT of shimmying whilst wearing it. Not shimmying on an actual dance floor. No, we created our own, busting out some truly terrible moves in the thankfully empty Eagle’s Nest Bar every single night. But with a skirt so perfectly designed to swish and leg flash, you can’t exactly blame me right?
Do you have any holiday’s coming up? And if so, will you be rocking this kind of co-ord?
Love Ella. X

4 Thoughts on Look Du Jour: Between The Palm Trees
[…] evening chained to my desk, as opposed to carousing, I felt sprightly and smug as I donned a highlighter bright Whistles co-ord and headed to Covent Garden. Not going to lie, I enjoy the mingle factor of fashion week more than […]
Lovely piece …
I have been loving two-piece sets lately and the color and print of this one is amazing! The metallic accessories add a beautiful touch!
Amazing style!
