Now this, mes amies, is one hell of a belated Look Du Jour. So belated in fact I almost wondered whether I should post it at all! then I thought, don’t be ridiculous. This look is waaaaay too cute not to be shared with you guys on the blog. I mean, it’s a goddamn sunflower print co-ord!

Alice and Olivia has long been one of my absolute favourite brands. I don’t need to tell you what a sucker I am for all things girly, sparkly and adorable but the way Stacy Bendet creates sweet treats that remain elegant and chic (oh, hello inintentional-well-ish rhyme) is a specific talent that I for one am extremely happy she has. This particular look combines a number of thing that I have a whole lot of love for; co-ords, florals, eye popping shades, clashing patterns and shiny things. It is, in fact a combination of two of my favourite American all time ever brands thanks to the level of Kate Spade involvement. The coat has seen my through thick and thin and never fails to turn heads and spark the debate as to whether it’s fuchsia, coral, orange or red. For the record, it’s definitely somewhere on the pink spectrum. As for the handbag… It’s shaped like a freaking watering can! I mean, how on earth could that not be great!?
